  • Integrated-Care Clinician
    The Kent Center is seeking a fully-licensed fee-for-session LICSW, PhD, or PsD to provide integrated behavioral health and primary care services to clients within an off-site primary care practice located in Warwick, RI.  This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrated care.  Clinicians will work closely with primary care providers to provide brief interventions aimed at addressing the psychosocial issues impacting medical conditions as well as traditional therapeutic interventions for behavioral health conditions.

    Job Requirements:
    Must be able to work flexible hours.

    Education Requirements:
    Must be a licensed LICSW, PhD, or PsD.

  • Residential Treatment Worker
    Full time. Provide supervision and support services to people with long term mental illness. Includes housekeeping duties, skills training, encompassing behavioral approach and ability to work in a team environment. Associates Degree in Human Service field or equivalent experience required. Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, special education or related human services preferred. Experience in the Human Service field and valid driver's license required.

The Kent Center OUTPATIENT SERVICES
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that provides a comprehensive range of behavioral health services for adults, children and families.
Position(s) available:

  • Outpatient Clinician LICSW
    The Kent Center has an opening for a licensed Outpatient Clinician to provide assessments and treatment planning for clients with mental health issues, trauma, and co-occurring disorders. You will provide both individual and family therapy, facilitate group therapy, both in our Outpatient Program and our Intensive Outpatient Program. Other responsibilities will be to provide crisis intervention as needed, and to provide referral consultation and education to the community regarding issues of chemical dependency and mental health.

    Experience working with adults with trauma and co-occurring disorders preferred. Independent Clinical Social Worker licensed to practice in the state of Rhode Island required.
     
    Education Requirements:
    Master's Degree in Social Work
     
  • Fee-for-Session Clinicians
    Provide office-based individual, family and group therapy with adults in both mental health and substance abuse programs. Both day and evening hours available. Master's degree plus LICSW, LMHC, or LCDP required.

  • Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist
    Team oriented Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Psychiatric Consultation Service Team.  You will provide direct psychiatric services to a diverse population as a member of our multi-disciplinary team focusing on recovery of adult clients with mental disorders, trauma and substance abuse.

    Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, medication prescribing and monitoring of clients and consultation services to members of clinical treatment teams.  Position is part time with hours available for Thursday and Friday coverage.
     
    Job Requirements:
    Appropriate Rhode Island Nursing licenses. DEA script license.

    Education Requirements:
    Master's Degree in Human Services related fields. Licensed at the independent level strongly preferred but will consider other candidates for community based programs.
