I once was lost
Drowning in a sea of misery
Losing sight of life's importance
Losing sight of me
The journey from that place was hell at best
It is the people here that helped me find my way
With them I grew stronger with every sunset in the west
I owe to them a large part of where I am today
Without these women, both counselor and peers
I would never have had the courage to come so far
I would not have realized my inner strengths or faced my hidden fears
Within each of these people there glows a shining star
It is that star that helps to shine the light
Guiding me when making the most difficult choices
Getting me through even the longest night
When things are tough I see this place and I hear these women's voices
I am indebted to Jane and our group more than they could never know
And care for each of them infinitely more than I am able to show
I may not know all the future holds that I cannot see
I do however know that I once was lost
Thank you all for helping me find me
